Insideouthouse (2006) is designed to transport the viewer into a solitary interior landscape. Upon entering a sculptural sketch of a house, the backlit images of the interior create an idealized photographic composite of the country road at night. The vast American landscape is recreated in a cell-sized space that could easily fit into any city room, with walls that appear to be built out of distance, light and space.
